FAQs

What should I expect on my first visit?

For first-time clients, please arrive 10-15 minutes early so we can go over your forms, make sure I know what you need, and decide how I can make your experience as enjoyable as possible.

Your first visit will include:

  • Going over intake form

  • Reviewing existing or prior medical conditions

  • Noting any areas of pain or muscles that need specific attention

  • Making sure your session is tailored to your needs

Are appointments required?

Yes, appointments are required. I do not accept walk-ins. If the preset time on the schedule doesn’t fit your needs visit our contact page and send me a message. I will do my best to accommodate your schedule.

Where do I park?

The studio address is 108 N. Rolling Rd. This address is on the corner of N. Rolling Road and Rockwell Ave. The studio will be seen on the second story of the building behind the house once you turn onto Rockwell Ave. You will see a driveway, as well as a sign for Inner Dragon Massage. There will be a green traffic cone in the driveway. Please park in the driveway in front of the green traffic cone.

Are there stairs?

Yes, there is a flight of stairs to the treatment room. The stairs are fitted with non-slip grips and handrails are available for your safety.

Will I need to undress for my session?

“ Undress to you comfort level,” is the proper response to this. You will, of course, be draped for your entire massage, and I will make sure you feel comfortable and secure. Some people choose to be fully undressed, some wear under garments. Please wear whatever makes you the most comfortable. I will adjust my treatment accordingly. You will given total privacy while you prepare for your session and get under the sheet on the table.

Should I make conversation during my session?

I encourage you to share how you’re feeling during your massage. However, you are not required to hold a conversation. The session is meant to be relaxing and allow you to focus on yourself.

I encourage you to remain calm and quiet during your session. But please share with me if you need to address any of the following:

  • Too hot or cold

  • You’re in pain

  • Have a question about the massage

Is it okay if I fall asleep during a massage?

100% fine. This is meant to be relaxing and enjoyable. Many clients do fall asleep during their sessions. It just means you’re really enjoying your session and feel relaxed.

I get cold easily, what can I do?

During a session its not uncommon to get rather chilly, since massage slows your heart rate and lowers your blood pressure. These changes usually result in feeling cold. Let me know ahead off time, or during your massage, if you need more warmth. I can offer you a blanket or turn on the bed warmer for you.

Do you take insurance?

I do not accept insurance. But you may use your HSA card to pay for your visit. I can also email you a receipt that you can use for reimbursement.
